An Outstanding Breakfast

On a recent trip to Canada, we spent a night at the charming À La Maison Campbell Bed and Breakfast in Magog, Canada.

The inn is owned by Jean, a former professor of medicine and his wife, Danielle, who studied visual arts in college and loves to cook. Consequently, the breakfast we were presented with in the morning was both delicious and visually stunning.

A thick, creamy yogurt with fresh berries to start

A flaky, homemade croissant with pumpkin seeds

A main course of decadent, tangy eggs Benedict (sans ham for me)

The tea service: the bird is a kettle and the cow pours milk
